‘American Horror Story’ Season 5 Spoilers: Episode 3 Synopsis Released Online; What Will Happen In ‘Mommy’? [VIDEO]
What could possibly happen next on “American Horror Story: Hotel”? More secrets about Hotel Cortez and its occupants will be revealed as Season 5 continues.
Episode 3, titled “Mommy,” will find Alex (Chloë Sevigny) struggling after her son Holden is brought up again. “American Horror Story” viewers will remember that Alex and John’s (Wes Bentley) daughter Scarlett discovered her younger brother alive at Hotel Cortez in episode 2. However, he wasn’t the same person she remembered. He slept in a glass coffin, didn’t want to return home … and tried to bite her neck. She tells her parents all about finding him when she returns home, but isn’t greeted with the joyous response she was hoping for. Instead it brings up painful old memories for her mom. While John yells at Scarlett that her brother is dead, deep inside he knows that he too saw Holden within the halls of Hotel Cortez … but he doesn’t say anything to Alex.
Scarlett’s outburst about Holden will push Alex to her “breaking point” in episode 3. But what will the pediatrician do? Will she close herself off even more to her husband? Or will she investigate the halls of Hotel Cortez herself?
Elsewhere, Donovan (Matt Bomer) leaves the hotel after getting dumped by Countess Elizabeth (Lady Gaga). And unfortunately for him the breakup isn’t his only bad luck. The episode description reveals that he’s targeted by a “dangerous rival” of Countess Elizabeth – Ramona Royale (Angela Bassett).
Finally, the promo video teases that viewers will continue to learn more about the hotel’s original owner and builder, James March (Evan Peters). Tristan (Finn Wittrock) once again pays a visit to dead murderer, but this time he knows who he is.
“You’re the greatest serial killer whose ever lived,” he tells March.
