A New Jersey woman was killed on I-95 on her way home after attending an "American Idol" audition in Philadelphia, according to an Associated Press report (via Courier Post). Five others were also injured in the crash.

The woman has been identified as 20-year-old Natasha Bellott of Bloomfield, 6ABC news said. The crash occurred just before 7 p.m. Sunday night in Lower Makefield Township, Pennsylvania, when a Jeep Liberty’s driver passed another vehicle in the right shoulder of I-95 North at high speed.

Police say Bellott was traveling home from the audition at Temple University’s Liacouras Center, according to the report. Bellot still had the American Idol ticket in her pocket.

Auditions were held Sunday in Philadelphia at the Liacouras Center at Temple University.

American Idol is set to end in 2016 when Season 15 comes to an end. The show reached a new low during the Season 14 premiere as it only brought in 1.4 million in the 18-49 demographic.
