‘America’s Got Talent’ Season 12: Heidi Klum’s Golden Buzzer Angelina Green Eliminated

“America’s Got Talent” Season 12 recently saw Angelina Green’s dream to win the grand prize in the hit NBC reality TV competition come to an end.

After her emotional performance on Tuesday night, the 13-year-old singer was named as one of the contestants who will compete for the Dunkin Save. She was joined by DaNell Daymon and Greater Works, as well as mind reader Colin Cloud. When the results were finally tallied, it was revealed that Colin Cloud will return for the semifinals in the coming weeks.

Judges Simon Cowell, Mel B and Howie Mandel voted to keep Greater Works in the competition. Heidi Klum, on the other hand, decided to stick to her golden buzzer pick. Unfortunately, one vote could not keep Green in the competition. Her recent elimination made her the first golden buzzer recipient to be booted off this season.

Light Balance dancers, Angelica Hale, Chase Goehring, Christian Guardino, Mandy Harvey, Darci Lynne Farmer, Johnny Manuel and Celine Tam are still in the running to become this season’s grand winner.

Meanwhile, only seven out of the 12 acts that performed on Tuesday night made it through to the semifinals. Dancer Big O Hernandez, singing group Final Draft, ballroom dancers Junior and Emily Alabi and visual artists Oskar & Gaspar all went home. Those who made it to the next round included Goehring, subway singer Mike Yung, dance troupe Diavolo, dog act Sara & Hero and inspirational singer Kechi Okwuchi.

Next week, 10 acts will return to the Dolby Theater stage for the live semifinals. The first contestants that will perform are singing ventriloquist Farmer, roller skaters Billy and Emily England, deaf singer Harvey, standup comedian Preacher Lawson, singer Yoli Mayor, magician Eric Jones, singer Evie Clair, robotic dancer Merrick Hanna, singer Manuel and Sara & Hero.

Just like in the previous weeks, the live results show will take place on Wednesday night. Out of the 10 acts that will perform, only half will make it through to the grand finals.
