‘America’s Got Talent’ Season 15 Update: Leaked Audition Tapes Include Singing Dog

“America’s Got Talent” Season 15 is coming amid the coronavirus pandemic.

According to host Terry Crews, the video auditions have been reopened. Those who are interested in joining the American talent show competition can send their video audition to agtauditions.com. The four judges Simon Cowell, Howie Mandel, Heidi Klum and Sofia Vergara will be judging from home.

“AGT” shared some clips of auditions on YouTube, with Cowell and Klum in their super comfortable pajamas during the Zoom call. One of the most interesting acts is Chris and Sid’s audition.

Chris and Sid are seated in a pickup truck during the audition. Sid is supposed to be a cow dog, but she is scared of cows. “What’s your full-time job, Sid?” Simon asks.

“She’s a good companion, that’s what she does for a living,” Chris answers.

“I think you meant Chris, Simon,” Mandel quips, sending the judges into a fit of laughter.

Cowell couldn’t help but laugh at himself too. He asks the same question, but this time, he mentions Chris’ name. Chris shares that he is a graphic designer and does music on the side.

“And just to be clear, Sid is a full-time dog?” Simon jokingly asks again.

Chris confirms that Sid is a “full time dog” and “full time best friend.”

Chris and Sid perform a duet and the four judges are impressed. After their song, Cowell, who has been cuddling his pet dog Squidlly, shares that she taps her head along while the duo sings.

“We both actually loved it,” Simon says.

Meanwhile, Sofia finds the performance perfect and “fantastic, beautiful and heartwarming.” Klum compliments Chris and Sid’s connection. According to the model, America would definitely fall in love with them and she wishes the audience were with them because she’s sure they will be clapping and rooting for Chris and Sid.

Mandel jokes and asks if Sid is singing along with Chris and not telling him to stop. Simon explains that Sid sings along with the beat.

“I think you’re exactly what the world needs right now. You put a smile on my face and warmth in our heart. And thank you for being part of it. I love that! Hopefully, you’ll get the votes and then you’ll car poodle here to LA,” Mandel says.

All the four judges give Chris and Sid a “yes.” But Cowell says the duo gets five “yesses” referring to Squiddly, who according to him loves the performance, too.

“America’s Got Talent” Season 15 will premiere on May 26 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on NBC.
