'Among Us': How To Get New Glitch Pet

“Among Us” is currently one of the most popular games in the world, and it’s just getting better. Now, thanks to a partnership with another company, the game introduces a new pet that players can get and use whenever they play. Here’s how to get it.

While InnerSloth’s “Among Us” is free to play on both PC and mobile platforms, those who wish to add a layer of customization to their in-game character can pay real money in exchange for pets, among other things.

Unlike pets in other games, particularly role-playing titles, the pets in “Among Us” do not give users added stats or skills. They instead let users personalize their character in a unique way.

Currently, players have access to a few pets, including a mini version of their character, as well as alien dogs. Now, “Among Us” has a new pet in the form of the “Glitch.”

The new Glitch pet is actually the result of a partnership between “Among Us” developers at InnerSloth and popular video game streaming platform Twitch. The pet is based on Twitch’s logo, which should be very familiar to those who are playing the game or are watching others play it via livestream.

Unlike other pets, the new Glitch pet is absolutely free and requires no money at all. It’s like the game itself: free to download and play, letting people have fun without parting from their cash.

So how can players get the new Glitch pet to bring it along with them in their crewmate or Impostor adventures in the Skeld and other maps? Here’s how:

• First, players will need to watch Twitch Rivals “Among Us” Showdown shows from Dec. 4 through Dec. 18. Players will need to spend at least half an hour watching the shows to be eligible.
• Second, after watching for 30 minutes, users should click on the Claim button in the Chat panel or in the Drops inventory.
• Third, after clicking, users should link their “Among Us” and Twitch accounts.

To link both accounts, users will need to do the following:

• First, users should open “Among Us” and click the cog when available.
• Second, users should click on “Data,” then on the Twitch “Glitch” icon at the bottom right area of the screen.
• Third, users will be redirected to Twitch and logged in. Once logged in, users should click on Authorize for “Among Us Drops.”
• Lastly, users should allow Twitch to open “Among Us.”

Users should keep in mind that they should do this process using a PC.
