Innersloth announced earlier today that it is still working on the Airship map, the next update for "Among Us." While the official release date of the map is still unknown, players can try different fan-made mini-games and mods available within the popular social online deduction title. One of these mods is called Janitor, which allows impostors to dispose of dead bodies easily and stealthily.

What Is The "Among Us" Janitor Mod

Unlike other mods in the game, the Janitor mod offers impostors the ability to blend in among crewmates by assuming the identity of another player in the lobby including its name and appearance. After making a kill, impostors can easily dispose of dead bodies or follow the other impostor around and clean up dead bodies. This makes the game a little more complicated and gives crewmates more difficulty in identifying who has been killed, calling meetings and even reporting dead bodies.

How To Play The Janitor Mod

In this mod, the player assigned the role of the Janitor takes the position of the second impostor. Aside from access to Kill and Sabotage buttons, the Janitor has a couple of new buttons, which are Morph and Janitor. The Morph button offers a new menu that enables impostors to choose the player they want to transform into. Meanwhile, the Janitor button glows whenever the impostor is near a dead body.

With this mod, the Janitor can kill and dispose of the dead bodies immediately, wiping off any traces of the crime. This mod also enables the impostor to disguise as one of the crewmates for additional cover in case they are seen. The rest of the game is played just like the normal "Among Us" game, where crewmates win by completing all the tasks before all of them get killed by the impostor.

For "Among Us" players interested to try the Janitor mod, Screenrant says that only YouTuber Socksfor1 and his friends have access to it. Players can try their luck accessing this mod by joining the server that uses it, including the server the YouTuber has set up.

"Among Us" is available on PC, Nintendo Switch, iOS and Android devices.
