He might have a movie out called “Where’s the Money,” but, in real life, Andrew “King Bach” Bachelor knows exactly where the money is: in Instagram ads.

The actor, who recently starred in “To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before” and “The Babysitter,” started out making videos on Vine, where he racked up millions of followers, and millions of dollars. Bachelor, who Celebrity Net Worth reports having a $3 million net worth, took what he learned from Vine ads and brought it over to Instagram later on.

Before gaining the almost-17-million followers he currently has on Instagram, Bachelor had the same amount of supporters on Vine. He started earning money as a social influencer with his first deal, which was for a six-second Vine video for Samsung that earned him $10,000.

“At the time, that was like crazy money,” he told actor Michael Rosenbaum on his “Inside of You” podcast. “I was like, ‘$10,000, yeah!’”

That was only just the beginning. Realizing his title as the most followed person on Vine carried a lot of weight, he began making up his own prices, while only choosing brands that he liked and that could be incorporated organically.

“So, like, ‘I want $25,000 for this six-second spot,’” Rosenbaum asked. He wasn’t even close.

“Oh, no, I would do like $150,000,” King Bach replied. “… I would rack those up.”

When asked if he would make $700,000 or a million dollars per month, he simply replied, “Yeah.”

Now, with Vine a thing of the past, King Bach, is like many other celebrities and is making money with Instagram ads.

“I do them all the time,” he said on the podcast. “I’m doing an ASICS deal right now. You’ll see that posted on my Instagram soon.

Now, it’s like, ‘How many posts do you want?’ Because I tell them, ‘This is my rate.’ Because sometimes brands will say, ‘I want five posts,’ and I’ll say, ‘Well, I don’t know if you can afford five posts, but this is what it is for each post.’”

He mentioned sometimes starting off at $300,000 for a minute spot on Instagram.

You can currently see Bachelor in a few movies on Netflix, including “The Babysitter” and “When We First Met.”
