Angelina Jolie-Brad Pitt Divorce Rumors: Actor Spotted Shopping With Son Amid Reports Of Reconciliation, Adoption
Brad Pitt was spotted shopping in Beverly Hills, California, with his son Maddox amid rumors of reconciliation with wife Angelina Jolie and reports of the couple adopting another child. Over the last few months, Pitt and Jolie have been battling divorce rumors.
The actor sported a casual look for the shopping excursion, wearing a white T-shirt over a white tank-top, along with cream trousers and suede shoes. He completed his look with his favorite fedora hat.
As reports about Jolie and Pitt's reconciliation after their alleged fights over career and the actor's closeness with his co-star's surfaced, rumors also made the rounds that the couple is planning to adopt a seventh child.
“Brad and Angie believe that adopting an older child will make people aware of orphans who are often overlooked,” a source told InTouch Weekly. “According to Angie, everybody seems to want to adopt babies when there are so many other wonderful, worthy and deserving older children out there.
“They feel that by adopting a child who is 10 or older, he or she will mix in better with their rambunctious kids, who are getting bigger by the day,” the source added. Jolie and Pitt have six children, Maddox, 14, Pax, 12, Zahara, 11, Shiloh, 10, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 8.
Earlier this month, Pitt and Jolie had a family reunion during the birthday celebration of their twins Knox and Vivienne at the Griddle Cafe in West Hollywood, giving rise to speculation that things might be working well between them.
Rumors also surfaced that the two were planning “crisis talks” to save their marriage after the actress realized how “far apart” they had become as a couple. Jolie's health issues also have been blamed on their rumored relationship problems.
Amid several reports about the couple's relationship, a Radar Online report claimed that the couple's multi-million dollar Santa Barbara compound was surrounded by smoke as fires ravaged the area.
