Angelina Jolie Shares Rare Photos Of Daughters Shiloh, Zahara On Instagram

Angelina Jolie gave her fans a glimpse at what kept her children busy during the summer.

The "Maleficent" star posted rare photos of her kids, whom she shares with estranged husband Brad Pitt, for the first time ever on her new Instagram account.

"End of #summerreading," Jolie captioned the photos. "These are some of the favorites in our house. Would love to know yours."

In the first picture, Jolie's daughter Zahara Jolie-Pitt, who was adopted by her parents when she was 6 months old from an orphanage in Ethiopia, can be seen smiling while reading Toni Morrison's "The Bluest Eye." She sported a septum ring and multiple earrings.

The second snap featured Shiloh Jolie-Pitt, 15, reading Akala's teen novel "The Dark Lady." She looked comfortable in a black hoodie with her hair tied up in a bun.

Jolie is also mom to Maddox, 20, Pax, 17, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 13.

Fans flooded her post with warm messages for their family.

"The Jolie girls are so beautiful," one commented, while another wrote, "How beautiful they are."

"Love you and your family," a third fan wrote.

Some followers also recommended some books that Jolie's kids could check out.

Jolie joined Instagram in August to share a letter she received from an anonymous teenage girl in Afghanistan who wrote that she is scared of the Taliban's ascendance into power.

In just three days, the actress amassed 8.9 million followers. At present, she has 10.2 million followers and counting.

The "Eternals" star beat Rupert Grint, Sir David Attenborough and Jennifer Aniston, who all broke the Guinness World Record for fastest to reach 1 million Instagram followers.

Aniston reached 1 million followers in over five hours. Attenborough surpassed her record by achieving it in four hours and 44 minutes before Grint's account gathered a million followers in just four hours and one minute. However, Jolie reached 2.1 million followers in under three hours.
