Angelina Jolie had a blast spending some quality time with her daughter Vivienne Jolie-Pitt this week amid her ongoing custody battle with ex Brad Pitt.
The mother-daughter duo was photographed hitting up a Forever 21 store in Hollywood Tuesday. Jolie and Vivienne were seemingly inseparable during their outing as the 12-year-old had an arm around her 45-year-old mother’s shoulder in the different snaps obtained by Daily Mail.
The “Girl, Interrupted” star looked stylish as she rocked a beige trench coat over a black shirt and black pants. She also donned a pair of plain black sandals with a bow detail. Jolie had a nude bag with a gold chain and she also wore a gray face mask to their afternoon shopping.
On the other hand, Vivienne kept it casual by sporting a white crew neck sweatshirt that she paired with black shorts and black and white trainers. She also had a face mask on for protection amid the coronavirus pandemic.
The Hollywood actress and her daughter were accompanied by security during their outing. A couple of photos showed one of their security guards carrying the stuff they bought from the store.
Jolie’s sighting with Vivienne comes a couple of weeks after a source disclosed to Us Weekly that her 21-year-old son Maddox has already given a testimony in the ongoing custody battle between Jolie and Pitt.
“It wasn’t very flattering toward Brad. He doesn’t use Pitt as his last name on documents that aren’t legal and instead uses Jolie. Maddox wants to legally change his last name to Jolie, which Angelina has said she doesn’t support,” the source said.
It should be noted that Jolie filed new court documents on March 12 saying that she and her kids are willing to give their testimony to offer “proof and authority in support” of the domestic violence allegations against the “Once Upon A Time in Hollywood” actor.
Pitt and Jolie share four other kids together aside from Maddox and Vivienne — Pax, 17, Zahara, 16, Shiloh, 14, and Vivienne’s twin Knox. Since most of them are minors, the ex-couple would have to grant them permission for them to testify in the case.
The “Mr. & Mrs. Smith” co-stars tied the knot in August 2014 but split two years later. Jolie filed for divorce in September 2016, and it was finalized in 2019. Their custody battle has been going on for five years now as Jolie wants full physical custody while Pitt is seeking for 50/50 custody.
