Angelina Jolie's Life Was Reportedly Put In Danger; Brad Pitt's Ex Thrilled About 'The Eternals'
Angelina Jolie, 44, is already working on Marvel’s upcoming film “The Eternals” lately. Reports have it that the cast, which includes Salma Hayek and Richard Madden, is filming in England. Other personalities expected to appear in the movie include Kit Harington, Kumail Nanjiani, Brian Tyree Henry, Lauren Ridloff, Lia McHugh and Gemma Chan.
Recently, Brad Pitt’s ex-partner was, reportedly, forced to evacuate from a film set. Sources claimed that “The Eternals” cast were ordered to relocate in a safer place after an unexploded bomb was uncovered on the set. Metro reported Angelina Jolie and the other cast members were taken in Fuerteventura, Canary Islands.
“It was obviously terrifying — the bomb could have been there for decades untouched but who knows what might have happened if it was disturbed,” an insider told The Sun. “Some of the biggest stars in the world were on set and nobody was taking any chances. Fortunately, experts dealt with it,” it went on.
Luckily, the management was quick to bring in experts to remove the bomb. However, it remains unclear as to how long exactly the bomb was there or where it came from. The filming has, also, resumed.
In September, Angelina Jolie was snapped spreading ashes into the lake. This, according to reports, is one of the scenes in the forthcoming “The Eternals” movie, which is said to span thousands of years. For starters, the film follows the Eternals as they protect the human race from the Deviants.
Angelina Jolie is set to portray the role of Thena. The ex-partner of Brad Pitt told People, in August, that she will work very hard to give the MCU the Thena it deserves. The “Salt” actress even revealed that she underwent intense training, doing “everything from swords to ballets,” for the character.
The mom of six, also, shared that she will be working with director Chloe Zhao for the imminent “The Eternals” movie. Angelina Jolie even said she looks forward to adding more colors to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
“I think Chloe is going to make a special Marvel film. With all the love and respect for the others and what makes them work, we hope to add something new,” Angelina Jolie said. “The Eternals” is scheduled for release on Nov. 6, 2020.
