Anna Faris Admits Being Jealous Of Jennifer Lawrence During Chris Pratt Cheating Rumors

“Mom” star Anna Faris didn’t confirm estranged husband Chris Pratt cheated on her with his “Passengers” co-star Jennifer Lawrence, but that didn’t mean she wasn’t jealous. The funny lady opened up in her memoir “Unqualified” about how she felt when her then-husband was working with one of the hottest women in Hollywood — and it wasn’t good.

Before Pratt and Lawrence started working together, Faris was warned there would be rumors about the pair.

“Even before they met in person, my publicist, out of the blue, pulled me aside,” she wrote, according to Radar Online. “’Anna, listen, there are going to be paparazzi all over them,’ she said. ‘There are going to be shots of them laughing together on their way to set. There are going to be stories circulating, and you have to brace yourself for this.’ I didn’t think it would bother me. I’ve been in this business a while now and I had seen Chris star alongside other beautiful women, like Aubrey Plaza and Bryce Dallas Howard .”

Faris told Pratt how she felt about the rumors, and while he didn’t understand at first, “eventually Chris came around and understood why it felt sh---y.”

She doesn’t hold anything against J-Law, though. The Oscar winner apologized to Faris for the rumors.

“She’s awesome, but of course it’s hurtful and also embarrassing when people are saying your husband is cheating on you — even if it’s patently untrue. You still feel, and look, like a fool,” Faris penned.

Another thing that arguably led to the demise of her relationship was when Pratt’s movie career blossomed and hers took a backseat to television.

“And I am really happy to celebrate your celebrity,’” Faris remembered telling Pratt. “’Like when we’re in a restaurant, and someone asks to take a picture with you and hands me the camera, mostly I love it…but truth be told, it’s not like I don’t walk away with, say, 4 percent of a sting.’”

It made her doubt her own career.

“I’m so thrilled and grateful that you are doing the things you are, and I have crazy pride in the fact that your talents are recognized, but it can be hard not to have a moment of self-doubt when my husband is acting with young women in big movies and I’m playing a role in Mom that, while I love it, is incredibly unsexy,” the mother of 4-year-old Jack wrote.

Faris and Pratt announced their separation in August. They were married for 8 years. Since then, Faris has reportedly been tied to Michael Barrett — though she hasn’t confirmed it.
