Anna Faris Ignores Dating Rumors On Instagram After Chris Pratt Split

Anna Faris is rumored to have moved on from ex-husband Chris Pratt, but that doesn’t mean she’s ready to talk about her speculated new romance publicly. Following reports Faris is now dating cinematographer Michael Barrett, she took to Instagram, but not to talk about her love life.

On Wednesday, Faris posted to her Instagram account about her popular comedy podcast Unqualified. The post included a shot of her and her latest guest, comedic actor Jim Jefferies, and touted her newest episode alongside co-host and executive producer Sim Sarna. “We tackle one of the our most memorable calls so you don’t want to miss this one!” teased the post.

The episode, which was released Tuesday, has Faris and Sarna talk to Jefferies about his friendship with actor Brad Pitt and what he misses about Australia. The episode is also teased to include “one of the most powerful advice calls” ever received on the program.

While Faris, 40, is no doubt busy filming her podcast and prepping for the release of her book, which is also titled “Unqualified,” she’s also rumored to be busy romantically. TMZ has reported that the “Mom” actress has been seeing Barrett, 47, after meeting on set of her new film “Overboard.”

The site reports there were “no signs of romance” between the pair during the film’s production earlier this year, but were seen acting very “couple-y” during an outing last month in Malibu, California. Photos of their visit to a carnival in September show the two drinking beers and “taking in the sights.” According to the site, the alleged couple was last seen visiting a restaurant in Pacific Palisades this week “with more reports of PDA.”

Faris’s rumored new romance comes two months after she and Pratt, who were married for eight years and share son Jack, 5, together, announced they were ending their marriage.

“Anna and I are sad to announce we are legally separating. We tried hard for a long time, and we’re really disappointed,” their statement read. “Our son has two parents who love him very much and for his sake we want to keep this situation as private as possible moving forward. We still have love for each other, will always cherish our time together and continue to have the deepest respect for one another.”

Faris later hinted that having a long-distance relationship with Pratt, 38, may have played a part in their marriage’s demise.

Faris last discussed her relationship with Pratt earlier this week, telling People Magazine her ex is still “so proud” of her and that they will remain good friends.

“We’ll always have each other and be incredible friends,” she said. “There is still so much laughter in our lives together, and he is so proud of me, still. We watched each other grow, and he still cracks me up all the time. And I think I crack him up – unless he’s a really good actor and great at faking laughter.”
