Anne Hathaway Welcomes Baby Boy, Son’s Name Revealed
One of Hollywood’s couples has welcomed their first baby together. Anne Hathaway gave birth to her first child with husband Adam Shulman.
Hathaway and Shulman’s family of two has now grown to three, with the arrival of their son. The “Alice through the Looking Glass” actress gave birth on March 24, according to E! News. Hathaway’s representative was said to have confirmed the baby news. The Hollywood couple has also named their son Jonathan Rosebanks Shulman.
A source shared in an interview with E! News that the new parents were extremely happy over the birth of their baby son. The source even described Hathaway and Shulman as “ecstatic” with their new parenting roles. Hollywood’s latest baby was even said to be “surrounded by friends and family” in Los Angeles. “The baby is extremely healthy,” the source added.
Becoming a mother has been one of Hathaway’s lifelong dreams. She shared in a previous Vogue interview that she wanted to be a mother someday, as stated in the same report. The actress even gushed on how she plans to love her future children “quite fiercely.” She even commented that she “can’t wait to meet” her kids.
Meanwhile, the “Intern” star has mostly kept silent during her pregnancy. Although news of Hathaway’s pregnancy was first reported in November 2015, a snapshot of her then growing belly was only unveiled in January, according to People magazine. The actress took to Instagram then to share a photo of herself wearing a red bikini with her baby belly on display.
In the picture, Hathaway was all smiles as she posed on a beach, with her hands on her belly. She captioned the image, “I figure if this kind of photo is going to be out in the world it should be an image that makes me happy (and one that was taken with my consent. And with a filter :).”
Hathaway and Shulman started dating in 2008. The couple became engaged in November 2011 and were married in a romantic ceremony in September 2012.
