Anonymous Developer Leaked Actual PlayStation 5 Dev Kit And Dualshock 5 Controllers
Sony’s PlayStation 5 is still a few months away from its official release window. So far, we have already seen the actual photo of the alleged PS5 development. Earlier today, a post on the social networking site Twitter shares an actual image of not only the PlayStation 5 dev kit but also of the alleged Dualshock 5 controllers.
Prominent internet newshound All Games Data on Twitter shared the actual photo of the PlayStation 5 dev kit along with the Dualshock 5 controller. The photo allegedly came from an anonymous game developer. Interestingly, the latest photo aligns with previous leaks about Sony’s next-generation gaming console.
On the topmost part of the photo, just beside the right gaming console, is the alleged Dualshock 5 controller. Earlier, we have seen the leaked patent filed by Sony Interactive Entertainment of its next-generation PlayStation 5 controller, which seems to align with the actual photo shared on Twitter. While we could not clearly see the difference between the current generation Dualshock 4 controller and the next generation Dualshock 5 controller, thanks to the patent, we have an idea of what it will reportedly feature.
Based on the patent, PS5’s Dualshock 5 controller will not have many changes. However, it is stated in the description that it will feature a built-in microphone in place of the light bar found in the current generation controller. The recent image is the latest of the long line of leaked images surrounding Sony’s next-generation gaming console.
It is worth noting that leaks like these are unofficial, and considering that the source of this recent one is an anonymous game developer, we have no way of verifying its integrity. In this case, we suggest taking these details with a pinch of salt and with skepticism. PlayStation 5 is slated to arrive sometime in the holiday of 2020.
Meanwhile, Microsoft, recently claims that its next-generation gaming console, the Xbox Scarlett will have an extensive and massive game library at launch. This is something that PlayStation 5 allegedly could not offer to gamers. Microsoft takes pride in the backwards compatibility of the Xbox Scarlett, which will enable players to enjoy their favorite video games on the next generation gaming console.
