Ant Anstead remains grateful despite calling it quits with estranged wife Christina Anstead a few months ago.
The British motor specialist, 41, spent Thanksgiving with his son, Hudson, whom he shares with Christina. Anstead took to Instagram Thursday to share an adorable photo of their father-son celebration.
“To all my American friends and family …. Happy Thanksgiving. I have so very much to be grateful for,” Anstead captioned the post.
This came two months after Anstead and Christina announced on social media that they decided to go their separate ways after less than two years of marriage. Reports claimed that the former flames have been having marital issues since the birth of their son in September 2019.
A People insider said that despite having a blended family, Christina felt “lonely and unhappy.” The “Christina on the Coast” star shares two kids with ex-husband Tarek El Moussa, while Anstead has two children with former wife Louise Herbert.
The “Flip or Flop” star reportedly found it hard to “balance everything,” although she never expected to get a divorce again. Anstead and Christina’s friends were also allegedly shocked by the split because the couple seemed happy and fine when in public.
A month after sharing the bad news, many fans noticed that Anstead seemed thinner in a new Instagram photo from set in which the TV personality rocks fake tattoo sleeves. He confirmed that he did lose 23 pounds but asked followers not to worry, vowing to “get it back on.”
Meanwhile, Christina officially filed for divorce from Anstead earlier this month, just a day after her estranged husband revealed some “exciting news.” The 41-year-old shared that he was leaving “Wheelers Dealers” but will have three new shows, which garnered mixed reactions from his followers.
“I proudly hand the spanner’s over to the legend that is @f1elvis and I remain home in California to embark on THREE new TV shows (watch this space for the top secret news coming soon),” Anstead wrote.
“Thank you all those car fans (and non car fans) for the years of support and banter! I am incredibly proud of what we achieved! It’s been a ride. Check out my story for the video catch up! X,” he added.
