Anthony Davis just turned himself into a meme.

The Los Angeles Lakers forward was left speechless after his character in Grand Theft Auto Role Play accidentally killed "Steph Curry" when he was streaming on Twitch.

Davis' hilarious reaction was captured by pop culture expert @netw3rk on Twitter.

The 6-foot-10 All-Star's hooded character just shot another character dressed in a blue Curry Golden State Warriors jersey from behind, causing the two-time MVP to fall off a cliff.

GTA RP is the multiplayer mod of GTA V's PC version, which allows for more interaction and, as expected, more funny content just like what Davis just underwent.

NBA players live-streaming video games have become popular in recent years, allowing fans to have a glimpse of professional athletes' lives outside of the hardcourt.

In fact, a Reddit thread has even compiled the links of their Twitch accounts back when the COVID-19 pandemic shut down all sports events.

As expected, streamers include millennials like Alex Caruso, Devin Booker, Paul George, De'Aaron Fox, Luka Doncic, Royce O'Neale and Gordon Hayward playing games like Fortnite.

Back in 2018, Philadelphia 76ers All-Star Ben Simmons also went viral after jokingly talking smack directed towards the Atlanta Hawks.

Meeting Minnesota Timberwolves center Karl-Anthony Towns online on his stream, Simmons convinced the Wolves star to join him for a game of Player Unknown Battlegrounds (PUBG).

Towns was reluctant at first, telling Simmons they have an upcoming game, implying he has to be well-rested.

But when Simmons asked who the Wolves' opponent was, Towns responded: "Hawks."

The Sixers court general went on to say, "You've got plenty of time," meaning Towns and the Wolves did not have to prepare too hard.

It caused Towns to laugh even more.

The Hawks had a disastrous 2018 season, finishing 29-53 overall, which led to them taking Trae Young at fifth overall in the draft that year via the lottery.

Now, it's Davis' turn in the spotlight. Accidentally dragging Curry's name into the conversation will surely generate just more attention as they are now part of the latest sports meme.
