Anthony Weiner calls lewd photo incident a hacker's 'prank'

Rep. Anthony Weinter on Tueday said that an incident in which a lewd photo was sent from his Twitter account to a 21-year old college student was a prank caused by a hacker.

Look, this is a prank and not a terribly creative one, Weiner said. I was hacked. It happens to people. You move on.

In a press conference with reporters, he chose not to give any additional details on the matter.

I'm not going to allow it do decide what I talk about for the next week or the next two weeks, and so I'm not going to be giving any more about that today, he said.

He said he would not allow this thing to dominate what he talks about further.

He said that a lawyer and a legal team were going to advise us on appropriate next steps.

He called questions about the matter a distraction.
