Very recently, the credible tipster @OnLeaks leaked a slew of Apple iPad Mini 4 cases. The cases were apparently made of soft silicon. In general, the case manufacturers across the globe usually receive the upcoming device dimensions and other information, prior to the release. Using this configuration, the case designers will be able to release the cases on time, in other words, in concert with the device launch. As the case manufacturers are busy building cases and covers, the iPad Mini 4 release date in fall 2015 looks imminent, says GSM Arena.

When it comes to rumored Apple iPad Mini 4 specifications, the slate will reportedly flaunt a thinner design. This will be followed by a single row of speaker grill cutouts. But then, instead of the mute switch, a microphone will apparently be introduced on the tablet, says Phone Arena.

Under the hood, the iPad Mini 4 is believed to be powered by the upcoming Apple A9 SoC and will be backed by 2GB of RAM. On the software front, the device will apparently run on the recently introduced Apple iOS 9. Notably, the highlight of this OS version is the multitasking capability.

In the meantime, VCPost says, the Mini 4 will feature a 7.9-inch display, Touch ID fingerprint scanner along with Apple Pay support. Nevertheless, readers should note that, the Cupertino-based tech giant has not confirmed the Apple iPad Mini 4 specifications thus far.
