Apple iPhone 12 Will Be Released With 5G Feature; Says Morgan Stanley Analyst
The Cupertino-based tech giant, Apple, has reaped a massive victory with this year’s iPhone 11 series. Apple has finally offered users of older iPhone models with a good incentive to replace their handsets with the iPhone 11. But a new set of predictions from analysts reveals that the next flagship iPhone, the iPhone 12, could feature 5G technology.
Early market reports suggest that the LCD smartphone is performing better in terms of sales compared to OLED counterparts. Analyst reports from Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley reveal future Apple product plans. Morgan Stanley Analyst Kate Huberty at the company’s quarterly conference call, provides an estimate of what the bank expects Apple to achieve in its services segment as well as with the iPhone 12 next year.
Apple has a new strategy, and it appears that it wants to capitalize on its existing users by service monetization. Because of this, the Cupertino-based tech giant released the Apple Card in the early part of 2019. Now, Morgan Stanley analyst Huberty believes that the Apple TV will bring the company around $9 billion in revenue come 2025.
In the fiscal year 2018, Apple netted around $37 billion in its Services as a segment. The estimated $9 billion revenue will be provided by 137 million customers based on the assumption that only 1 in 10 Apple users pay $4.99 for the monthly Apple TV fee. In terms of iPhone 12, Huberty predicts that the Cupertino-based tech titan will launch a 5G smartphone next year.
We have seen various reports claiming this, as well. There were even some claims that the iPhone 12 series will feature 5G across the board, while several others believe that the next-generation cellular connectivity will only be available to higher-tier models. Rumors have it that Apple will equip the iPhone 12 with A14 Bionic chip
Bloomberg predicted that Apple will launch the Apple AR Glasses in 2020 alongside with the iPhone 12. Initially, the AR Glasses might serve as an accessory to the iPhone through iOS. The augmented reality glasses from Apple are expected to display text messages and get map directions. But, eventually, the AR Glasses will be a standalone product, and others believe it will be Apple’s replacement product for iPhones.
