Design And Display

The LG V10 measures 159.6 x 79.3 x 8.6 mm whereas the iPhone 6S Plus measures 158.2 x 77.9 x 7.3 mm. Both the handsets weigh 192 grams. The LG V10 boasts premium design thanks to the usage of 316L steel in building. The Dura Guard, a durable silicon skin, has also been used in the device to prevent scratches, Techno Buffalo reported.

The LG V10 comes with a 5.7-inch IPS Quantum display offering Quad HD resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. The 5.5-inch display of the Apple iPhone 6S Plus that supports full HD resolution comes enabled with 3D Touch feature that lets the screen distinguish between touch gestures with different pressures.

The V10 features an additional always-on display placed above its main display. The 2.1-inch display offers a resolution of 160 x 400 pixels, but it does not hamper the battery life of the handset.

The additional display provides information like weather, time, and date and battery status. It can be used as shortcuts for frequently used apps. It discreetly shows alerts for incoming call and text message alert while enjoying games or movies on the main screen.

The LG V10 features the Snapdragon 808 chipset that is supported by 4 GB of RAM. The hexa-core processor presents in the chipset clocks at 1.8 GHz. It supports up to 128 GB of microSD card on its external storage. It is only in a single internal storage variant of 64 GB.

The iPhone 6S Plus is powered by a dual-core processor of the Apple A9 chipset along with 2 GB of RAM. The iPhone 6S Plus lacks a storage slot. However, it is available in multiple storage options of 16 GB, 64 GB and 128 GB.

The 16-megapixel camera of the LG V10 is enabled with features like Optical Image Stabilization, laser autofocus, 4K video shooting and LED flash. The front panel of the handset features two cameras of 5-megpaixel for wide-angle photo shooting.

The Apple iPhone 6S Plus is fitted with a 12-megapixel camera. It carries features like OIS, 4K video recording and slow motion video shooting at 240 fps. It features a selfie shooter of 5-megapixel.

The LG V10 is packed with a 3,000 mAh battery whereas the iPhone 6S Plus is equipped with a 2,750 mAh battery. Ecumenical News has reported that the unlocked LG V10 is priced at $600 whereas the unlocked iPhone 6S Plus with 64 GB is priced at $849. Its unlocked 16 GB and 128 GB storage variants are priced at $749 and $949, respectively.
