One of the highly anticipated devices of this year is Apple’s MacBook Pro 2016. Rumor has it that this device will be unveiled sometime this month. In the meantime, the predecessor 13.3-inch MacBook Pro has been significantly discounted on eBay. However, only limited quantities of this variant are available on discount.

The 13.3-inch MacBook Pro with 500GB built-in storage space and 4GB of RAM can now be purchased for just $799.99 via eBay. Apple’s official store, on the other hand, is selling the same device for $1,099. With this deal, buyers can save $299.01 or get 27 percent off.

Upon purchasing the device, eBay will offer 1-year manufacturer warranty and free shipping service. Interested buyers should, however, note that this model does not come with a Retina display.

The seller of this discounted 13.3-inch MacBook Pro is the well-known “Electronics Valley.” So far, 543 units of this discounted notebook have been sold. The MPN number associated with this variant is “MD101LL/A.”

Moving on to key specifications, the 13.3-inch LED-backlit display comes bundled with 1,280 x 800 pixels resolution. Under the hood, it is powered by a dual-core (Intel Core i5) SoC, running at 2.5 GHz. The graphics on the device is handled by Intel’s HD 4,000 GPU.

Speaking of software, Mac OS X 10.9 / 10.8 runs the 13.3-inch MacBook Pro out of the box. This model supports 802.11n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, dual USB 3.0 and Thunderbolt ports.

Apple has housed a 64 watt-hour lithium-polymer battery unit, which is capable of offering up to 7 hours of battery life. There is also a standard FaceTime 720p HD camera onboard.

The MacBook Pro’s exterior has a glossy finish and it weighs 4.54 lbs. This device comes equipped with stereo speakers, subwoofer, omni-directional microphone and a 3.5mm headphone/microphone combo jack.
