Apple Watch 2 Rumors Suggest March 2016 Release Unlikely To Happen
Apple Watch 2 rumors have been heavily hinting that it will be unleashed in March this year. However, a fresh report has revealed that the Cupertino company is unlikely to release it any time soon.
According to Tech Crunch that cites information revealed by Ben Bajarin, an analyst from Creative Strategies. The supply chain is not working on the second generation edition of Apple Watch.
The Cupertino company does not seem to have placed any order for a new edition of its timepiece in the latter part of the previous year so that its shipping could happen in the first half of this year. Moreover, since the app developers are also silent, the Apple Watch 2 release date seems to be few months away from now.
The new report that surfaced now contradicts the news cropped up in the previous week which stated that the Apple Watch 2 trial productions have started by Quanta. The chairman of Quanta had claimed in the previous year that the Apple Watch 2 may become available in the market by second quarter of this year.
Bajarin added that the arrival of Apple Watch 2 may not happen but the company may announce design partnerships and accessories. Other rumors have suggested that a new version of Apple Watch may arrive with minor improvements such as inclusion of a FaceTime camera.
Apple is still expected to hold a launch event in March this year. Speculations are rife it will mark the arrival of a small-sized iPhone called iPhone 5e featuring a 4-inch screen. It will be arriving with a full-metallic design and is dubbed as an upgraded edition of the iPhone 5S.
The March launch event may also be used by the company to announce the Apple iPad Air 3. It will come out to replace the Apple iPad Air 2 that was released in October 2014.
