Apple Watch Series 6 With Bezel-Less Display Stuns In Video Concept
KEY POINTS
- A new Apple Watch Series 6 concept video has appeared
- The video reimagines the Apple Watch without bezels
- It might look slick, but it's just a concept video
While Apple is yet to make any announcement regarding the successor to the Apple Watch Series 5, fans can't stop but think about what's coming with the Series 6 models. Thankfully, a concept video imagining what the device could feature appeared on the internet. Could this be how the new wearable looks like?
A designer named Pallav Raj created an Apple Watch Series 6 concept video for the ConceptsiPhone YouTube account. The video imagines the device as having the same size, but with a “new perspective.”
The video features an Apple Watch model that looks to have the exact same size as that of the existing Series 5 models. The only major difference that can be seen here is the lack of bezels on all sides, resulting in a wearable that has a larger display.
The write-up beneath the video described the device as having “much more power in the same size.” It didn't provide any explanation for that claim, however.
Rumored specs
So far, Apple Watch fans longing to know anything about Apple's Series 5 successor only have their imagination and the internet rumor mill to rely on. The Series 6 model in the concept video above looks stunning, but fans can't expect to see that kind of display unless Apple announces and unveils the device. It's better to expect less than be disappointed with unmet expectations.
That said, fans can expect the Apple Watch Series 6 to have the following features once it's released:
- A fresh design
Previous reports said Apple will introduce a “fresh design to the system.” These could include new features such as watch face customization and more.
- Kids Mode
Previous reports also indicated that the upcoming Series 6 will have a “Kids Mode” via watchOS 7. This will allow parents to connect their children's Apple Watches to their iPhone to manage them. Also, Apple will update the Activity Rings so that it can be used by kids. Instead of displaying the number of calories burned, the Rings will display the amount of time the child spent moving around.
- Sleep Tracking
WatchOS 7 is expected to offer sleep tracking functions.
- Pulse oximetry
The upcoming Series 6 models and watchOS 7 might introduce the ability to measure blood oxygen levels.
