Are Meghan Markle and Prince Harry Moving To The US?
Meghan Markle has been officially living in England for less than two years, but one royal commentator suggests she’s already planning to move back home. Of course, she wants to take Prince Harry and baby Archie Harrison with her.
Royal commentator Rob Shuter claims that Meghan is planning her move back to America, Express reports. It isn’t clear if they would move to California, where Meghan is from, or somewhere else.
“Sources add moving away from William and Kate Middleton is the goal,” Shuter claimed on his iHeartRadio show.
It’s rumored that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were the reason the Duke and Duchess of Sussex moved out of Kensington Palace. The plan was always to leave the two-bedroom Nottingham Cottage, but many believed they’d simply move into one of the large apartments at Kensington. Instead, the two decided to move to Frogmore Cottage in Windsor. However, moving out of London apparently isn’t enough space.
“Meghan knows if she stays in Britain, this will always mean living in their shadow. Meghan is not the type of girl who is happy coming in second place,” Shuter said.
Supposedly, it was the New York City baby shower that proved to Meghan that they could move stateside. Serena Williams threw the swanky soiree at the Mark Hotel in February. Paparazzi were outside the hotel for most of Meghan’s stay, just waiting to catch a glimpse of the Duchess.
“After her baby shower in New York, Meghan knows she and Harry could do this, and if they did do this, they would become the unofficial king and queen of America,” Shuter added.
There are often reports of Meghan and Harry planning to leave the U.K. They have also been rumored to be considering living in Africa for a while. The two have not announced any actual plans to move, so it looks like Frogmore Cottage will remain home sweet home for now.
