Are Paola And Russ Mayfield Still Together Today? ’90 Day Fiancé’ Star Gives Update

“90 Day Fiancé” stars Russ and Paola Mayfield butted heads over Paola’s career as a model. Even though Russ struggled with his wife posting half-naked pictures to Instagram, he still supports her and her career. For her part, Paola explained that she just wants to further her career and isn’t looking for attention from people on the internet.

“I'm getting more into fitness and that requires to be a little bit more revealing, something that my husband is not that happy [about],” Paola told Fox News June 29. “But he's getting to the point [of] trying to understand my position that I'm not doing it just because I want to expose myself.” She added: “[It's not] like, ‘Look at me! I'm half naked.’ No, it's because I actually, I motivate people to change their lifestyle.”

She now regrets going topless for a modeling shoot. “I think I learned my lesson, but I think that was the biggest fight that we had,” she said. “I wasn't expect[ing] to do that either. It just, I don't know, it happened so fast, but it was classy. I wasn't showing any... showing too much, of course. It was sexy but yeah, oopsie.”

When the Colombian model took her top off to pose during the “Happily Ever After?” edition of the series, Russ wasn’t pleased. Now, however, he is “proud” of Paola.

“She's promoting herself through her workouts and also through her modeling to show all the hard work she has done for her body and I'm very proud of that,” Russ said.

It doesn’t mean he doesn’t have limits, though.

“There is a point that I like to make sure she keeps it classy,” he said. “I come from Oklahoma and I've got my conservative morals and values and I'm not going to change her and she is who she is and that's what I love about her.”

In her last Instagram post, Paola wrote a message to her fans. “Hola Loves! I want to thank you each and every one of you for all your love and support, for understanding differences and just being amazing people!” she wrote Thursday. “I've been reading all your messages and I've been trying to answer everyone! I hope I did a good job. I really don't know what I did to deserve so much love! Thank you my loves!”

She also had a message for her haters. “When you attack me on social media realize that it never defines me, it actually defines you and to be honest it says more about who you really are as a human,” she penned. “I understand you want to give your ‘opinion’ but to insult me and use strong words is NOT acceptable. The worst part is reading the rude and mean comments coming from other woman, seriously? As a woman, I like to empower other woman. Not put them down! Just realize it is never too late to change and that this is my life to live, not yours.”
