Following reports Paul Wesley and Phoebe Tonkin split in March, it looks like The CW stars may be back together.

On Thursday, “The Originals” actress shared a photo of her ex-boyfriend sitting in a car on Instagram. Although the photo got fans excited that the two reconnected, Wesley’s comment on the photo may have further sparked rumors that the two are back together.

In the photo, Wesley seemed as if he was deep in thought during his career ride. “Resting life dilemma face,” the actress captioned the photo.

At first look, Tonkin sharing a photo of her ex-boyfriend is not that big of a deal considering the two were reportedly still friends after the split and have been spotted out together since breaking up.

However, Wesley’s comment on the photo made it seem like they were more than just friends. “Dis is accurate babes,” the former “Vampire Diaries” star wrote in Tonkin’s comments section.

The Instagram photo comes a few weeks after the two were spotted out grabbing a romantic dinner on April 6 in Los Angeles. Sources have said that although Tonkin and Wesley are no longer together, the two have been friendly and hooking up, according to Us Weekly.

The couple began dating in 2012 when they met on the set of “The Vampire Diaries.” However, by March 2017, it was reported that the two split and moved out of the home they once shared.

Despite the separation, it looks like Wesley and Tonkin may be on the path to rekindling their romance.
