“Love and Hip Hop Atlanta” stars Rasheeda and Kirk Frost are struggling with their marriage on the current season of the show, but according to HipHollywood.com, the couple doesn’t have any plans to divorce in the near future. In fact, Rasheeda says, they are working on their problems.

In recent episodes of the VH1 reality series, Rasheeda and Kirk have been fighting over money, the direction of her rap career and her unplanned pregnancy. On the red carpet for the 2013 BET Awards on June 30, the rapper, who is now seven months pregnant, said of her marriage, “It’s a work in progress.” She added about her husband, “It all depends on how he balances it out.”

“We’re here together because he’s such an influential part of my career and he’s holding me down.” The star, who was nominated for Best Female Hip Hop Artist but lost to Nicki Minaj, finished with, “We’re trying to make it work.”

Rasheeda hasn’t revealed the name and gender of her baby, even though she knows both, but when asked for any details about her little one, the “LAHHATL” star suggested fans watch the reality show. Unfortunately, Kirk spoiled his wife’s attempt to plug the show when he referred to the baby as “him.”

When asked if he was excited about his new child, he said, "I’m getting used to it. I’m happy. I can’t wait to meet him.”

Rasheeda had already stepped off-camera when her husband spilled the beans about their little one, but she probably wasn’t happy that Kirk let out a secret she'd hidden from cameras just moments earlier. Keeping details about a child’s gender and name hidden from the media is a popular trend among celebrities, most notably Kim Kardashian and Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton.

Kardashian didn’t announce the name until nearly a week after North West was born, and even though the royal child is due any day now, the public doesn’t know the sex of the new prince or princess or even any possible name choices.
