Rihanna is currently on vacation in Barbados to celebrate the island’s annual carnival event. While partying it up abroad, new rumors indicate that the “Rude Boy” singer isn’t alone.

While celebrating in the parade recently, Rihanna was seen getting cozy with British Formula One race car driving world champion Lewis Hamilton. According to Page Six, the 27-year-old party girl was walking around the celebration in a theatrical-looking makeup design with jewels glued onto her body. Keeping pace with her in the parade was Hamilton, who eventually joined and danced with her on a parade float.

While some were quick to jump to the conclusion that the duo were engaged in a romantic relationship after getting down and dirty in Barbados, the truth is that reports about their affection for one another are scattered at best. TMZ reports that, although the two are hanging out, the singer has no real affection for the racer other than as a close friendship. In addition, E! Online says sources close to Rihanna are saying that the singer is still feeling things out with singer and soccer star Karim Benzema. Those two were recently seen getting breakfast together after a night on the town. However, the insider claims that they’re still taking it slow.

As for Hamilton, this isn’t the first time that the 30-year-old racing star has been romantically linked to a celebrity in recent weeks. According to the Daily Mail, the British bachelor has been the subject of rumors with a number of women, including Kendall Jenner, since the very public split from his girlfriend, singer Nicole Scherzinger.

According to Us Weekly, the couple split in February after Hamilton dragged his feet a little too long in putting a ring on Scherzinger’s finger. A source close to the couple revealed that she was ready to get married to her boyfriend of eight years, but he was simply not ready to take the plunge.
