Ariana Grande’s fiancé Dalton Gomez just proved to the singer that he’s a sweetheart after he grabbed some Starbucks coffee for her following the announcement that she’s replacing Nick Jonas on “The Voice.”
The “Thank U, Next” hitmaker, 27, and her real estate agent beau, 25, were photographed as they were making their way to a Starbucks in Montecito in Santa Barbara, California, Wednesday. Gomez drove the car as Grande sat in the passenger seat.
In the snaps obtained by Daily Mail, Grande was seen fixing her makeup while her husband-to-be was focused on the road. When they reached their destination, the singer stayed in the vehicle while her man was seen heading inside the coffee shop.
A few moments later, Gomez emerged from the shop carrying three drinks and a Starbucks paper bag. A snap showed him wearing a gray jacket over a white shirt, brown pants and a pair of green and white sneakers. He also had a black baseball cap on and a matching face mask for protection amid the pandemic.
The couple’s sighting comes a day after it was revealed that Grande will be doing coach duties on the 21st season of “The Voice” alongside John Legend, Kelly Clarkson and Blake Shelton.
“Ariana is a huge fan of The Voice and her management team has been negotiating to get her on the show for a while,” an unnamed source told Page Six.
“She is replacing Nick Jonas, who is a [coach] on the current season, but he isn’t leaving for good. Nick will remain on rotation with other stars that have appeared on the show. The chances are he will be back soon,” the source added.
Grande took to social media to express her excitement for her new stint on the singing competition by sharing a snap of her posing elegantly on her “The Voice” coach chair.
“Surprise!!! I am beyond thrilled, honored, excited to be joining @kellyclarkson @johnlegend @blakeshelton next season — season 21 of @nbcthevoice! @nickjonas we will miss you,” she captioned her post.
Meanwhile, Grande and Gomez have been inseparable ever since they announced their engagement on social media in December. Earlier this month, the two were spotted heading to their dinner date at Fia Restaurant in Los Angeles. They wore matching white face masks at the time.
Grande and Gomez first sparked romance rumors after they were captured by TMZ making out on Valentine’s Day last year. They then made their relationship public by appearing in the lockdown-themed music video for Grande’s collaboration with Justin Bieber, “Stuck With U.”
