Grande’s “Thank U, Next” has been at the top of the charts for three weeks now. The song features lyrics that pertain to her past relationships, including her recent breakup with ex-fiancé Pete Davidson. She also mentioned Alvarez, Big Sean and Mac Miller.
Aside from the song itself, the “Thank U, Next” music video has been getting a lot of attention online as well. It paid homage to several films including “Mean Girls,” “Legally Blonde,” “13 Going on 30” and “Bring It On.” It also featured a lot of cameos, such as her former “Victorious ” co-stars Matt Bennett, Daniella Monet and Elizabeth Gillies. Other stars such as Troye Sivan, “Mean Girls” star Jonathan Bennett and Kris Jenner also made appearances.
Meanwhile, “Lucid Dreams” by Juice WRLD went up a spot, landing on the fifth position. As for “High Hopes” by Panic! at the Disco, it climbed two notches to land on the sixth spot. Unfortunately for “Girls Like You” by Maroon 5 featuring Cardi B, it went down several places from number 5 last week to number 8. The other songs that made it to Billboard’s Hot 100 include “Trip” by Ella Mai (Top 15), “Bohemian Rhapsody” by Queen (Top 50) and “Burn The House Down” by AJR (Top 100).
