Arizona Amber Alert: 17-Year-Old Kidnapped In Idaho, Maybe Driving Towards Las Vegas
UPDATE: 1.30 a.m. EDT - Officials said the suspect, 18-year-old Miguel Rodriguez-Perez who allegedly kidnapped 17-year-old Sandra Rios-Chavez in Idaho, fled after they tried to pull his car over in Arizona's Surprise. Officials believe the suspect is in Surprise after they found the car abandoned near the area of Grand Avenue and Deer Valley. Officials with four agencies are canvassing the area for the suspect and the victim.

An amber alert issued for a 17-year-old girl was extended from Idaho to Arizona after authorities said the suspect may be in or passing through the state.
According to the amber alert, Sandra Rios-Chavez was forcibly kidnapped by 18-year-old Miguel Rodriguez-Perez from a Wendy's restaurant parking lot, where she worked, Sunday evening. Authorities believe the girl was in danger and that they may be driving toward Las Vegas in a 2015 black Audi A4 with Idaho license plate 2J-83179.
The Arizona Department of Transportation said the suspect’s phone was traced to a cell tower in Arizona’s Kingman area. Authorities described Rodriguez-Perez as six feet tall with tattoos on both arms. Meanwhile, officials said Rios-Chavez maybe wearing a Wendy's uniform and grey sweatshirt.
According to reports, Rodriguez-Perez was Rios-Chavez's former boyfriend. He has a history of domestic violence.
