Ashley Benson And G-Eazy Call It Quits After Dating For Less Than A Year

Rapper G-Eazy and actress Ashley Benson allegedly parted ways after dating each other for less than a year.

The dating rumors about G-Eazy and Benson had started doing the rounds in May 2020, following the latter's break up with model Cara Delevingne, Us Weekly reported. The “Days of Our Lives” actress and the “When It's Dark Out” rapper were spotted together for the first time in Los Angeles.

While the reason for their split was not revealed, a source told ET Online that G-Eazy is enjoying single life again. The source admitted G-Eazy loves being in a relationship, and he fancies the idea of having a partner. However, the relationship between the rapper and the actress became "too domestic" for G-Eazy.

The source further explained this was one of the reasons why they went in different directions, ET Online reported. The source also revealed the rapper is looking forward to staying single.

"He’s also been working on new music and he’s looking forward to this new era both professionally and personally," the source added.

Benson and G-Eazy kept their relationship unofficial for a couple of months after the rumors began.

The former "Pretty Little Liars" star then took the rapper to her sister Shaylene's wedding in September. The bride posted videos and photos of the special day on her Instagram stories. Fans immediately noticed G-Eazy in the stories and learned he attended the wedding.

However, the couple admitted their relationship on Nov. 2 when they posted pictures of themselves on social media. The couple, who was dressed up as Catwoman and Batman for Halloween, shared the pictures on Instagram.

During an interview with ET Online in October, G-Eazy had opened up about his relationship with Benson. The rapper gushed over the actress and praised her for being "exceptionally talented." He further addressed Benson as a "special one" during the interview.

"Obviously, she's a great actress, but, you know, getting to work with her and putting her in front of a microphone and watching her sing so effortlessly," he added. The rapper noted that the 31-year-old actress has a special tone and texture in her voice.
