Ashley Tisdale’s Pregnancy Announcement Is Making ‘High School Musical’ Fans Feel Old

Ashely Tisdale and her husband Christopher French are expecting their first child. On Thursday, the 35-year-old announced her baby news, however, the revelation acted as a major reality check for fans who grew up watching Tisdale on the Disney Channel.

Tisdale shared two photos on Instagram of herself and French cradling her growing baby bump. While “High School Musical” fans were psyched about the news shared by the glowing mom-to-be, the announcement also made others feel old.

“Ashley Tisdale is pregnant.... my childhood years leave me more and more every day,” the fan wrote along with a gif of a woman crying.

Meanwhile, others reflected on the fact that Tisdale wasn’t the only actress to shed the image of her high school character. “Jade West got married, and Sharpay Evans got pregnant, the two biggest villains of our childhood. Y’all, we are getting old! congrats Elizabeth Gillies and Ashley Tisdale!” the individual wrote.

Another person added, “Ashley Tisdale is pregnant, Emma Roberts is pregnant, Debby Ryan is married, Katy Perry just had a baby, I just feel like this is really an end of an era & entering a new one. Our childhood is actually gone??!!!?!!”

During the early 2000s, Tisdale was known for her roles in “HSM,” and “The Suite Life of Zack & Cody.” While “Young & Hungry” viewers may not have had the same age revelation as others, who watched Tisdale during their teen years, a majority of actress’ fans appeared excited about her pregnancy announcement.
