'Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag': New Screenshots Released
Did you think that "Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag" was all about living life as a pirate? Think again! Ubisoft has released four new screenshots of "Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag" that give a glimpse into the game's present-day setting. Check out the photos below, which were initially spotted by VGV24/7.
We know what you're thinking: These shots look like something "Deus Ex: Human Revolution!" Trust us, they're not. In a Q&A with Game Zone, Ubisoft Lead Writer Darby McDevitt stated that the game's present day location will be Montreal, Quebec. He also indicated that you'll encounter new characters as well as old ones, though he didn't provide details.
While the above screenshots are indeed from "Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag," playing the present day sections of "AC4: Black Flag" may give you "Deus Ex" and/or "Thief" flashbacks. McDevitt revealed that while you won't be doing much plundering, you'll be "exploring, eavesdropping, and hacking. Mondern day pirate stuff."
"Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag" will be released on October 29 for Xbox PS3, Xbox 360, PC and Wii U."Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag" will also be released for the PS4 and Xbox One.
What do you think of the new "Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag" screenshots? What do you think of the fact that you'll be doing more sneaking than plundering when playing the parts of "Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag" that are set in the present day? Sound off in the comments below.
