'Attack On Titan' Release Date Officially Confirmed

The much-awaited return of the fan-favorite manga and anime "Attack on Titan" is just a few days away. While the anime left fans with a lot of hope and questions, the manga finally got its official release date. "Attack on Titan" is nearing its finale and with the anime release seemingly far from its release, fans are delighted to learn that Hajime Isayama's manga would be available sooner.

The "Attack on Titan" Chapter 131 now has an official release date according to a tipster with a Twitter handle, Attack On Titan Wiki. On the social microblogging site, the insider shared that the manga's latest installment would be released shortly. "Attack on Titan" Chapter 131 would be released on August 7 and would plod on the story of hope and misery of the Survey Corps.

The anime of "Attack on Titan" has no official release date yet. The upcoming instalment would the anime's final season, which could reportedly arrive in the later part of the year. The anime left fans with the scene where Erin, Armin, Mikasa and other members of the Survey Corps went passed the wall and saw the ocean.

However, the anime might arrive later than anticipated. It is worth mentioning that a lot of anime projects have been delayed because of the constraints of the current global health crisis. The most likely release window of "Attack on Titan" manga would be in 2021.

It was earlier reported that WIT Studio would not be handling the final season of "Attack on Titan." Despite being the studio responsible for the first three seasons of the anime, the final season's development and production is passed on to Studio MAPPA.

Meanwhile, the "Attack on Titan" manga is inching closer to its finale. The story would continue showing the events transpiring as the war between Eldia and Marley progresses. The Survey Corps is now distinctly different from when the war started, which dispersed the citizens of Eldian descent.
