"Attack on Titan" Season 4 Part 2, Episode 87 finale is releasing Sunday after a one-week hiatus. The final episode is set to showcase Eren revisiting his past to determine the specific event that set him on his current path.
However, he knows it doesn't matter anymore. Eren is aware they are way past introspections now.
He remembers his meeting with Yelena where she told him about Zeke Jaeger's plan to euthanize the Subjects of Ymir.
Later, Eren told Floch he would pretend to be by Zeke's side and even asked Floch to be on Zeke's team. However, Eren revealed his real plan to Floch, which was to end the world to stop this ongoing cycle of hatred.
"What we saw that day. What we talked about that day. What we chose that day. All of this was what he wanted. He hasn't changed at all," the official synopsis of "Attack on Titan" Season 4 Part 2, Episode 87 finale read.
In the penultimate episode, the lifeless body of Daz was shown drowning in the water as Connie helplessly tried to get him out.
Connie was one of the people who was strictly against killing people, let alone his own comrades. However, with the current situation, he had no choice left but to kill Samuel and Daz who were once part of his squad.
Elsewhere, Annie and Reiner were shown beating up Jaegerists. Later in the episode, the Azumabito mechanics revealed they would need half a day to get ready.
However, it was nearly impossible for the Alliance to stop the Jaegerists and defend the boat for that long.
Sadly, there was no other way. As the episode progressed, fans were treated to Falco's Jaw Titan who joined forces with Annie and Reiner to fight against the attacks from the Jaegerists.
"Attack on Titan" Season 4 Part 2, Episode 87 will stream on Crunchyroll and Funimation.
