The new characters will eventually join forces with the others and they will fight their last battle. The journey and the battles in “Attack on Titan” Season 4 are expected to explore more of the lore and the abilities of the giant humanoids.

With so many stories to cover from the manga, the TV series may not end with just a few episodes. One of the tools the producers are expected to use is time jumps, which should help them to finish the story quickly.

It is not clear if the last season will be split into two parts. So far, the only hint the producers have given about the development is the official logo that has blood stains.

The race to finish the story quickly is being seen as a mistake by critiques. According to Screen Rant, the anime series is making the same mistake as “Game of Thrones” because the short amount of time left will not leave enough room for character exploration.
