'Attack On Titan' Season 4: What We Know About Plot, Release Date
KEY POINTS
- "Attack on Titan" Season 4 will air in the fall
- There may be time jumps to finish the story quickly
- The TV series will end with Season 4
After making waves with its launch in 2013, “Attack on Titan” will come to an end with Season 4. The animation series is based on the manga by Hajime Isayama and the final few episodes are scheduled to air later this year.
There may not be any production delays for the show because the producers don’t have to film any scenes on location. There have been delays in the past, like the one for Season 2, but the main challenge for the TV series this time around will be to deliver the best possible animation and story to give the fans a satisfying ending.
According to Screen Rant, the next season may start by focussing on characters who live in Marley. The new characters will eventually join forces with the others and they will fight their last battle. The journey and the battles in “Attack on Titan” Season 4 are expected to explore more of the lore and the abilities of the giant humanoids.
With so many stories to cover from the manga, the TV series may not end with just a few episodes. One of the tools the producers are expected to use is time jumps, which should help them to finish the story quickly.
It is not clear if the last season will be split into two parts. So far, the only hint the producers have given about the development is the official logo that has blood stains.
The race to finish the story quickly is being seen as a mistake by critiques. According to Screen Rant, the anime series is making the same mistake as “Game of Thrones” because the short amount of time left will not leave enough room for character exploration.
“Attack on Titan” Season 4 is expected to air by fall. The producers are yet to announce an exact release date.
