‘Attack on Titan’ Spoilers Hint Return Of Female Titan To Stop Eren

“ Attack on Titan” Chapter 124 is titled “Melting Away” and featured the main protagonist Eren Yaeger executing his plan of obliterating all enemies outside the walls. With the newly discovered power of the Founding Titan, Eren Yeager dissolved the hardening and unleashed the Wall Titans. But, the recent chapter also hints the potential come back of the Female Titan with only one thing in mind, completer her mission.

The final scenes in the latest chapter of “Attack on Titan” showed that Eren did not only freed the Wall Titans but inadvertently release Annie Leonhart, the current bearer of the Female Titan. It is worth noting that Annie was held deep underground by the Survey Corps after she failed to attempt to recover the Founding Titan. Annie, however, chose to crystallize herself and stay in a comatose state instead of allowing the Survey Corps to interrogate and examine her.

Initially, only Annie could undo the hardening since no other weapon could destroy the crystal. The recent chapter of “Attack on Titan,” however, revealed that the Founding Titan has the power to control other titans. When Eren undo the hardening, it was affected not only on the walls around Paradis Island but also on the Armored Titan and the Female Titan.

Upon knowing the current state of Reiner Braun, Annie reached out to Armin through his mind. The recent “Attack on Titan” chapter proved that Armin was right on his theory that the crystals covering Annie Lionhart were already destroyed. In other words, Annie will soon come back to action along with the Female Titan, and we assume that it is in Chapter 125.

When she failed with her mission, Annie has no other wish but to be with her father once again. She must have an idea about Eren’s plan to eradicate all enemies outside the walls. Eren might target on destroying Marley first before proceeding to other countries. With Annie’s great love for her father, Annie will do everything to stop Eren from pursuing his plan.

The nagging question for the upcoming chapters of “Attack on Titan” is that if ever Annie was able to de-crystallize and return, would she be powerful enough to prevent Eren and the Wall Titans?
