'Attack on Titan' Predicted To Have A Heart-Wrenching Finale
“ Attack On Titan” has made a name for itself for its unparalleled storytelling as well as its nihilistic and cynical character scenes. The series will undoubtedly leave a legacy that outlives its ending. Interestingly, a new report claims that the fan-favorite series will have a heart-wrenching finale.
“Attack On Titan” is definitely one of the most straightforward, brave, and realistic manga and anime series ever made. It is not afraid to disappoint fans with its realistic plot and does not want to conform to the mainstream. This is one of the striking features that make “Attack On Titan” a popular and well-loved series.
With the series inching closer to the finale, Comicbook’s Evan Valentine believes that “Attack On Titan” will not have a happy ending. The writer cites several scenes in the series that prove no matter how the final episode will run through; it will not be a happy one. Since “Attack On Titan” started in 2009, it has given fans intense action in the fight between the remainders of humanity within the walls and the frightening massive naked beings looking to eat humans.
So far, the nihilistic world depicted within the gigantic walls has never given the main characters in the series a significant win without costing a massive price, the writer points out. In the early episodes of “Attack On Titan” one of the most heart-wrenching scenes was when Captain Levy commanded soldiers to throw the bodies of the fallen warriors at the Titans so they could escape from them. When he was asked what to answer to families when they asked for the bodies of their dead loved ones, he said to declare them lost.
Captain Levy and his squad are very close, and that particular scene is still haunting the fans. “Attack On Titan” at present shows Eren Jaeger technically going deep and is now considering destroying the world with his newly found power of the Founding Titan. Marley winning the battle will not end well, considering that the entire nation aims to annihilate Eldia.
We might have a little idea of where “Attack On Titan” is going courtesy of the series’ creator Hajime Isayama. A year ago, the creator shared that the final panel will be a touching one with a father cradling his son. Could this be Grisha Jaeger cuddling the young Eren in his arms, bringing us all in the past after a destructive future?
