Ava Phillippe Calls Mom Reese Witherspoon A 'Gorgeous Woman' On Her Birthday [Photo]
Reese Witherspoon's 22-year-old daughter Ava Phillippe shared a sweet post to celebrate her mother's 46th birthday Tuesday.
Ava posted a beautiful black-and-white photo of her mother holding a bunch of flowers while wearing a floral outfit.
"With every year, her bright light shines even brighter, and I find even more reasons to love her and a greater appreciation for all that she does," Ava wrote on Instagram.
"Happy happy birthday to the brilliant, joyful, fiery, thoughtful, and gorgeous woman that I am lucky enough to call my mom," she added with a red heart emoji.
Fans took to the comments section to share their reactions.
"Cheers to the woman who birthed my favorite human!" one person wrote, while another one commented, "Aww happy birthday! this is so sweet."
Some fans pointed out the resemblance between Ava and Witherspoon. "I swear god said copy & paste of your mama when they made you __ also funny story, one time i was walking on my lunch break in Beverly hills, feeling real cute when some photogs started snapping pics. I was so confused until I turned around and saw your mom walking behind me," a user wrote.
This was not the first time fans noticed the similarities in the mother and daughter's looks. The actress shared a photo with her kids on Instagram last year and captioned, "Gosh, I'm lucky to be their mom."
Many fans commented at the time that Ava looked exactly like her mother. Some fans also noted that the actress' son, Deacon, looked like his father, actor Ryan Phillippe.
Witherspoon was married to Phillippe from 1999 to 2008. The actress shares Ava and Deacon with him, while she also shares a 9-year-old son, Tennessee, with her husband Jim Toth. The actress married Toth in 2011.
On the work front, the actress will be next seen in the movie "Your Place or Mine," which is directed by Aline Brosh McKenna. She will also feature in "Legally Blonde 3," "Wish List" and "Tinker Bell." She is currently filming the TV series "Tiny Trailblazers."
