‘The Bachelor’ 2014: Nikki’s Ex-Boyfriend, Ryan McDill, Still Bashing Relationship With Juan Pablo
Nikki Ferrell may have joined “The Bachelor” as a single contestant, but her ex-boyfriend seems to have a pretty serious problem with the outcome of the ABC dating show. Ryan McDill, Nikki’s former long term boyfriend, has taken to a couple of gossip magazines to bash her new relationship with Juan Pablo Galavis.
“Knowing her like I do, I’m surprised Nikki acted like everything was fine during the ‘After the Final Rose,’” Ryan McDill dished to the new issue of Us Weekly. “She normally wouldn’t take that s*** from a guy. The Nikki I know would have slapped him and walked out.”

Ryan is of course referring to the epically awkward 2014 season finale of “The Bachelor.” For those that missed the final episode, fans were left not only without a proposal, but without an “I love you.”
“I want you to be a part of my life,” Nikki told Juan Pablo during the final rose ceremony. “I’ve never felt like this before and I didn’t expect to feel this way but I’m really glad I do … I can’t imagine spending my life without you. I don’t want it to stop and I don’t think it will. I love you.”
Thanks to one-on-one interviews, “Bachelor” fans saw that Nikki believed that she would be walking away from the finale an engaged woman. But instead Juan Pablo simply handed her his final rose.
“Honestly, I have a ring here in my pocket and I’m not going to use it,” the single dad told her. “I like you a lot, a lot. So Nikki – will you accept my final rose?”
Although Nikki’s face dropped, she ultimately ended up accepting Juan Pablo’s last rose. And the “After the Final Rose” special showed that the reality TV pair were still together four months later … despite Juan Pablo still not saying “I love you” to her.
This isn’t the first time that Ryan has addressed Nikki’s highly publicized relationship. Last week Dill spoke with Star magazine to extend some advice to his ex-girlfriend.
“Juan Pablo doesn’t care about you at all,” he warned his University of Missouri sweetheart. “He’s a total zero, and if you’ve already fallen for him, this bum will only break your heart.”
