Colton Underwood will begin his stint at ABC’s new star of “The Bachelor” on Jan. 7. After meeting his 30 contestants during the premiere, he’ll be forced to send several of them packing before heading into episode 2.

Here’s what happens during the 2019 premiere episode and who will be eliminated from the competition on the first night:

As all “Bachelor” seasons start, the female contestants will first be introduced to viewers before they officially meet Colton outside The Bachelor mansion. After a series of quick chats with the women (and let’s be real many interruptions), the former NFL star will present one of them with the coveted first impression rose, granting them safety from the first elimination.

According to spoiler Reality Steve, that rose will be granted to Hannah Godwin, one of Colton’s future finalists in the competition.

The notorious spoiler blogger has also discovered who Colton will ultimately send packing during his first rose ceremony. According to his findings, Colton will say goodbye to six contestants during episode 1. Those eliminated are reported to be, Revian Chang, Erin Landry, Tahzjuan Hawkins, Devin Gooden, Alex Dillon, and Adrianne “Jane” Aver, who are all pictured above.
