‘Bachelor’ Alum Ashley Salter Shares Sweet Photos Of Newborn Son Brooks

A lot has changed since “Bachelor” fans saw Ashley Salter compete for Chris Soules’ love on Season 19. The blonde beauty is now a new mom!

Ashley and her fiancé Austin Brannen revealed on Instagram last week that they welcomed their first child, son Brooks Hartman Brannen, on April 7. Brooks was born weighing 7 lbs 2 oz after a “long night” at Northside Hospital Women’s Center in Atlanta. Now, after a couple days at the hospital, Ashley and her little family are back at home – with their new puppy!

That’s right, not only do Ashley and Austin now have an infant at home, but a few months ago they also welcomed a puppy named Almond Joy into their live. And puppy and baby appear to be getting along just fine. Ashley shared a sweet image on Monday of her future hubby asleep with baby Brooks cradled in one arm, and Almond Joy under the other!

Ashley and Austin found love shortly after Ashley competed on “The Bachelor” and “Bachelor in Paradise.” Despite being unlucky in love on the ABC reality shows, Ashley announced this past September that she was engaged to her college sweetheart, who she had reconnected with after appearing on TV. They made their first on-screen appearance as a couple during fellow “Bachelor” and “Bachelorette” alums Jade Roper and Tanner Tolbert’s wedding. The event was taped for “The Bachelor” 20th anniversary special, which aired on Valentine’s Day.
