Ashley Iaconetti cannot commit to a romantic relationship at the moment, but the television personality is praying for the right one to come along in the future.

Iaconetti graced the Showpo U.S. Launch Party in Hollywood on Thursday, where she answered Us Weekly’s question about her dating status. According to the 29-year-old, she’s actually single because she does not really have time for a relationship. “Am I dating? Honestly, I couldn’t be more single,” she said. “I’m so busy that I can’t believe in my life I’m that girl who’s like, ‘I work so much, I don’t know how I could have time for a relationship.’”

Explaining further what she meant by this, Iaconetti said that while she wants a relationship, she’s just not fine with the idea of going out on random dates. The “Bachelor In Paradise” alum also admitted that though she’s gone out on a few dates lately, her professional engagements are preventing a serious relationship from blossoming. “[When] I get home, I want a little peace and quiet. On my nights off, I don’t want to go on a date with a stranger,” she said.

Interestingly, Iaconetti revealed that she’s praying for a husband. “I pray to God that He can just drop my husband on my lap and we can start a relationship,” she said.

Iaconetti also explained why she’s not open to dating Rachel Lindsay’s cast-off and close friend Dean Unglert. According to her, though she finds Unglert “super cute,” he may not be in the right place to have something serious with someone her age.

On the matter of who she thinks is the perfect guy to be the next “Bachelor,” Iaconetti did not have someone in mind, but she did say that Ben Higgins should once again be the bearer of red roses in the future. “Like he’s not going to do it this season, but I would love to see him as ‘The Bachelor’ if the next years don’t work out in real life. He’s so good. I think he’s everybody’s golden bachelor,” she gushed.

Iaconetti’s statement comes months after rumors that she was seeing Higgins surfaced. Apparently, some publications speculated that the two were in a relationship after Higgins’ split from Lauren Bushnell. Higgins, however, slammed the dating rumors during an interview with Ryan Seacrest in May, saying that Iaconetti was simply his “good friend.”
