‘The Bachelorette’ 2016 Casting Announcement To Be Made During ‘The Bachelor: After The Final Rose’ Special
Are you ready to meet the next star of “The Bachelorette”? With Ben Higgins’ season of “The Bachelor” coming to a close on Monday, fans of the hit ABC reality series are already obsessing over who will be cast as the next lead in the franchise. Fortunately, viewers don’t have to wait too long to find out.
The “After the Final Rose” special will directly follow “The Bachelor” finale at 10 p.m. EDT on March 14. It’s during this hourlong live sit-down with host Chris Harrison that the star of “The Bachelorette” Season 12 will be announced.
According to the synopsis for the special, fans can look forward to Chris Harrison's breaking down the dramatic conclusion to Season 20 with Ben. Although it’s unknown if the 27-year-old software salesman will choose Lauren Bushnell or JoJo Fletcher, fans will get to see him for the first time with the 2016 winner. Of course, he’ll also have to come face-to-face with the woman whose heart he broke in Jamaica.
After Chris Harrison interviews Ben, Lauren and JoJo about the “sensational outcome” to the season, he’ll introduce the cast-off contestant who will be starring on “The Bachelorette” this summer. But do fans already know who it is? All signs are pointing towards Caila Quinn, who Ben eliminated after their fantasy suite date.
Besides the amount of attention that Caila garnered during last week’s “Women Tell All” special, blogger Reality Steve posted photos of what appears to be Caila filming her opening package for “The Bachelorette.” The 24-year-old software sales representative was spotted with a camera crew in her hometown of Hudson, Ohio.
Is Caila the new “Bachelorette”? Viewers will have to watch the “After the Final Rose” special to find out.
“The Bachelor” Season 20 finale will air on ABC Monday, March 14 at 8 p.m. EDT. The “After the Final Rose” special will air at 10 p.m. EDT.
