‘Bachelorette’ Alum Emily Maynard Gives Birth, Welcomes Third Child With Tyler Johnson

The newest addition to Emily Maynard’s family has arrived!

The “Bachelorette” alum gave birth to her fourth child, her third with husband Tyler Johnson, on Sunday. Johnson, who revealed the happy news on Instagram Stories, posted several pictures of Maynard at the hospital throughout the day. He shared photos of Maynard before giving birth, a photo of her holding her newborn, and a photo the baby meeting her 12-year-old big sister, Ricki.

Maynard, meanwhile, shared a photo of a celebratory bottle of Veuve Cliquot champagne, which she apparently enjoyed in the hospital following her delivery.

In addition to their new bundle of joy, Maynard and Johnson also share two sons, Jennings Tyler, 2, and Gibson Kyle, 1. Ricki is Maynard’s daughter from her previous relationship with the late race car driver Ricky Hendrick.

Maynard revealed that she was expecting her fourth child last August. “Way too many tacos at lunch. Seriously though, as scared as I am to have 3 under 3, I’m so grateful God picked me to be the mommy to my kids and we can’t wait for number 4 to get here!” she wrote on Instagram. “This pregnancy has been filled with lots of hot wings, ranch dressing, an emergency appendix surgery at 6 months, and swollen ankles all day every day but I wouldn’t change it for the world. My little tribe can’t wait to meet their new brother or sister (it’s a surprise!) in the next couple of weeks!”

Apparently, Maynard and Johnson’s family may get even bigger in the future. Maynard told People last April that “once you get past two and you keep adding, it’s just like ‘Whatever.’ ”

“You could have 18 kids and it really doesn’t make that big of a difference,” she explained. “Your stroller gets bigger, but that’s it. I want to have maybe two more. Ricki is so much older, she’s just more of a help than anything else. So, we’ll see!”

Maynard and Johnson got engaged in 2013. The “Bachelorette” Season 8 star then tied the knot with the automotive management consultant in June 2014. Prior to her relationship with Johnson, Maynard was previously engaged to Hendrick who died in a plane crash in 2004. The reality star was also betrothed to Season 15 “Bachelor” star Brad Womack and Season 8 “Bachelorette” winner Jeff Holm.
