‘The Bachelorette’ Fans Say Tayshia Adams Deserved Her Own Season After Clare Exits
The rumors have officially been confirmed as true when it comes to “The Bachelorette.” Clare Crawley officially exited the show on Thursday Night’s episode after becoming engaged to Dale Moss and was replaced by Tayshia Adams. However, while fans are excited about Tayshia getting her chance to find love, they also feel she was gypped by ABC when it comes to the way her season started out.
Tayshia came in to replace Clare after her engagement, which led to her leaving the show prematurely. The news initially broke over the summer, though the show declined to officially confirm it. 16 men were still left in the competition as she came in, and according to Reality Steve, four other new men were introduced during her run—Spencer Robertson, Montel Hill, Peter Giannikopoulos and Noah Erb.
However, while fans were happy about Tayshia taking over, many expressed disappointment that she was getting what they felt was the short end of the stick, since the men left had initially been competing for Clare’s affection, and the ones who had been previously eliminated weren’t brought back for her to have a chance with.
Others also stated that it wasn’t fair that Adams wasn’t getting her own whole season, something they felt she deserved over what she was handed. Still, they wanted the new series star to know they were rooting for her.
Still, despite Tayshia starting with only some of the men Clare left behind, she allegedly gave her First Impression Rose to one of her newbies. Bucking trends on the show though, she reportedly did not choose him in the end, and he didn’t even make her Top 4.
The final four are all reported to be men who had originally been from Clare’s season—Ben Smith, Zac Clark, Brendon Morais and Ivan Hall. However, while Brendan and Ivan were initially reported to be her final two, Reality Steve has since updated his predictions and revealed that Tayshia picked Zac, though they didn’t get engaged.
“The Bachelorette” airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. EST on ABC.
