BangBros Sends Cease And Desist Notice To Mia Khalifa Over Defamatory Claims

More than 1.5 million people have signed the petition to remove the pornographic videos of Mia Khalifa from various adult websites like BangBros and Pornhub. Social media users have come forward in large numbers to support the ex-porn star's campaign to remove the videos from the internet.

But after seeing the growing support for the cause, one of the adult websites has decided to send Khalifa a legal notice.

BangBros, one of the biggest adult websites in the world, announced on Twitter that it has sent a “cease and desist” notice to the former porn star following her claims that the company has been promoting her old videos as though they were newly produced.

In its tweet, the company indicated that it sent the notice because of Khalifa’s “defamatory” statements. The company also noted that Khalifa should share the real “facts” with her fans.

“Today we sent @MiaKhalifa a legal C&D demand which lists some of her defamatory, false statements about Bangbros over the years and a list stating the actual facts. We encourage her to share the fact checklist with her audience. We doubt she will though,” the adult site tweeted.

On June 26, Khalifa shared online a horrifying experience that involved BangBros. In a series of tweets, she started by saying that she did not open up about this before because she was made to feel that she would be ridiculed by the "general public" if she were to raise the issue.

Khalifa, who made waves in the adult film industry with her videos, then revealed that she was contacted by BangBros' Jordan Sibbs. Sibbs allegedly tried to convince her to pose for a shoot, claiming she could go mainstream and be "validated" if she worked with him.

Khalifa also called out the alleged photographer for his misconduct. She said that if the photographer really did work for Vogue, then he should be ashamed of "abusing his credentials" to do that shoot.

She alleged that the company, its executives, and the photographer “consciously chose to deceive” her because the photos were later used on the porn website under her name.

Recently, Khalifa uploaded a video on Instagram reflecting her experience in the adult industry. In the clip, she could be seen attempting to drink something from a glass that she tagged as “standard = rhetoric.”
