Bankroll Fresh Dead: T.I., Future And Other Celebs React After ‘Hot Boys’ Rapper Shot And Killed Outside Atlanta Recording Studio

The hip-hop community is mourning the loss of rapper Bankroll Fresh. The 28-year-old up-and-coming Atlanta artist (real name Trentavious White) was shot and killed Friday night in his hometown after gunfire erupted outside a recording studio.
According to the New York Daily News, police said a group of people were standing outside Street Exes studio a little after 11 p.m. when shots were fired from a moving car. Bankroll Fresh and at least one other person were hit during the shooting, the outlet reports.

A friend of the “Hot Boys” rapper put him in the car and immediately drove him to Hughes Spalding Hospital, but he died less than an hour later. TMZ reports that over a dozen shell casings were found outside the studio, and police do not have any suspects or a motive yet.
Bankroll Fresh, 28 at the time of his death, had released several mixtapes over the course of his career and collaborated with rappers like Big Sean, Juicy J, Future, Wiz Khalifa and 2 Chainz, who is also from Atlanta.
Following news of Bankroll Fresh’s death, T.I. took to Instagram to share his condolences.
“Daaaaamn lil homie. U was a cold one. A solid-UP young’n… Prayers to U & ya Fam lil Bro. Rip #BankRollFresh,” T.I. wrote in one post, adding in another: “Sometimes s--- just get to moving so fast it’s impossible to make sense of it all… I know death is apart of life but it seems so unfair to snatch somebody before they got to begin to reach their potential & change they life. And now it’s OVER??? Can’t be. We got nothing but Love, Respect, & Admiration over here fa u lil bro!!! Salute.”
